From 2020, there is no AIIMS MBBS examination. Admission to AIIMS will be conducted through NEET score. Once NEET results and merit list have been declared the DGHS will conduct the All India Counselling on behalf of the NMC. Eligible Candidates have to appear for Counselling to get a seat in AIIMS. If you want a seat in any score less than 650 will not get you a seat in any of the AIIMS branches. This is for 2 reasons. Admission to AIIMS will be conducted at All India Counselling and hence the cut offs are usually higher. And even when AIIMS had its own entrance examination, the cut offs were above 98%. So if you belong to General Category, you will need nothing less than 650. And if you belong to Reserved Categories, you will need atleast 625. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
