I assume you want to know some tricks that would help you to solve math problems easily. So I would suggest you some methods as per my experience.

1) Solve lots of problems - Start solving simpler ones first. And then practice, practice and practice. Others can solve problems easily because they have seen similar problems before and have an experience of problem-solving.

2)Try to solve the simpler cases- Try to make some simple cases and note what process it has taken you to reach the answer.Try to compare it in the general case and see what problems you find in solving those steps.This would help you to crack higher problems easily.

3)Make a main network of information given- Sometimes we miss out some important information given in a question and this lead you getting wrong answers again and again.

4)Analyze the problem- Analysis gives your mind a picture of what is actually asked by the question and what information is given to you.The more time you spend in analyzing, the more clearer the question will appear.

5) If the problem seem wrong or unsolvable - You are probably lacking the knowledge or experience needed to solve the given question. In this case go back to a simpler set of problems or the areas of math that are pre-requisites to what you are solving right now.
