How can you define the emf of a cell and it's s.i unit?
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well these days!
Emf of a cell can be defined as the maximum potential difference between two eletrodes when there is no current.
It's s.i unit is volt.
E=w/q
Where w is work done by a charge to move from one point to another per unit charge,
Q is the charge.
Hope it helps!
