How do I become eye doctor? Is mbbs is need for that?

Hey Kishore.

If you aspire to become an Eye doctor then the first thing you need to do is to complete an MBBS degree which is the basic requirement for you to become a doctor. There are three entrances in India for admission in MBBS courses- NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER. There is no other mode of admission to MBBS courses in India. But you cant start practising as an eye doctor just after completion of MBBS. You need to do an MD degree in Ophthalmology,after completion of MBBS including the compulsory internship. the duration of which is 3 years after which you will become an eye doctor. Mode of admission in PG courses like MD is through entrances like NEET, AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI.
