Students can get corrections done for spelling mistakes in their names or their parent's names on the Class 10 mark sheet by submitting an application form which they can download from the official website of CBSE, www.cbse.gov.in (https://www.cbse.gov.in/) or collect from school. You have to submit the required documents as proof and pay the fee to get the correction done. Once verified, the CBSE will issue a revised mark sheet with corrected spellings.

You haven't mentioned how many years ago you have given an exam.
But the general procedure is Approach concerned regional office from where you have attended exam during 10th class with your credentials and your fathers identity proof like aadhar card/voter card etc.
Fill up the form which you could download from cbse website too and submit it to Regional office along with DD.
Amount of DD depends on Urgency of your requirment. If you opt for Urgent basis DD amount will be a bit higher than normal and Time taken for issuance will be less. Usually a couple of weeks.
You will receive New certificate with corrected name.

Steps for Name Correction in Class 10 and 12 Marksheet
Students should follow the simple steps mentioned to get their name corrected in the CBSE marksheet.
1) Get the Application Form:
First of all, students need to take the application form. They can either download the form from the official website or from the link mentioned below and take its print. Also, they can collect the form from the admission department of their respective school.
2) Fill up the Application Form
Students have to fill up the application form correctly by giving all the details. To avoid any type of error, they must read the instructions carefully before filling up the details in the form.
3) Document Submission
Students need to submit some documents for the name correction process. These documents include:
School leaving certificate of the previous school which is submitted by the parents at the time of admission.
