How do I ensure that someone is perfectly eligible for the NEET?
When a student satisfies all the conditions imposed by the examination authority to be eligible for that exam then he/she will be perfectly eligible to write that exam and on qualifying the exam and with appropriate marks they will get admission.
Qualifying exam eligibility:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board.

Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.
Qualifying marks:
- The class 12 percentage required for NEET 2021 exam is separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40% PWD - 45%
The age criteria:
Minimum age requirement: Candidates must have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2021.
There is no maximum age limit till now for NEET. Also there are no restrictions in the number of attempts.
Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals aspirants are eligible to apply.
So if these conditions are satisfied a student will be eligible to sit for the exam.

The eligibility criteria for NEET is
- The candidate should have passed class12 or equivalent exam with PCB and English as core subjects from any recognized board.
- also the candidates should have scored minimum 50% marks in aggregate in 12th standard in PCB subjects. The minimum marks required for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 40%
- Also, the candidate should be minimum 17 years old.
There is no upper age limit in NEET and candidates can give the exam as many time they want. Apart from these, Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and Foreign candidates can also apply in NEET.

There are various criteria set by NTA to choose their candidates whether they are eligible for exams or not for NEET.
- In order to be eligible for the examination, candidates must qualify 12th class examination with Chemistry, Biology, Physics and English subjects. For General category candidates, it is mandatory to score 50% marks in 12th grade, whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 40% marks to become eligible for NEET 2021.
- The lower age limit for candidates aspiring for NEET 2021 should be 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year, i.e., 2021
- About 15% of seats are reserved for All India Quota candidates in various medical and dental colleges of India.
