How do I get admission in M. Sc. in Medical Bio Technology?

MSc Biotechnology or Master of Science in Biotechnology is a 2 year postgraduate program that is divided into 4 semesters. Biotechnology eligibility is to have a bachelor’s degree in B.Sc with specialization in any biological sciences.
- Average Fees: INR 40,000 to INR 2 lacs
- MSc Biotechnology Entrance Exams: BHU PET, BITSAT, DUET, JNUEE, IPU CET, TISS NET.
The MSc Biotechnology eligibility criteria to be fulfilled by the willing candidates is as follows:
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in either Physics, Biological Sciences or in any other related discipline, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
- Candidates must have completed their 10+2 level examinations with at least 50% aggregate score from a recognized board of education.
The actual admission process will differ from institute to institute and from the choice of the required entrance examination, the basic admission process steps are as follows:
- Choose the colleges to study. Look out for the application dates for the entrance examination, if any.
- Once the application window opens, apply for the examination and check other essential details.
- Prepare and sit for the examination. Go through past papers and the examination syllabus for the exam.
- If the candidate has qualified for admission, the application form for the counseling session needs to be filled out from the official examination website. A minimal processing fee also needs to be paid.
