This is obviously right that the competition is increase in jee because every student have extra time for preparation. So it's time to start study with planning and smart work.
To get good results you must be revise NCERT at least two times and after that focus on scoring topics.
I think it will be helpful for you.

hi aslesha,
You can only know, about the status of your preparation through mock test, solving previous year paper in one go. Don't waste time in thinking that the competition will increase. Competition will increase for those who are not studying hard and start to get relax due to Jee Mains postpone. If you relax, surely student who is preparing hard during this time will leave you behind and believe me even 1 month is enough for someone to make good rank difference and leave you behind. If you have completed the syllabus give mock paper, previous year paper and analyze your mistake and revise the part where you did mistake. If you keep your preparation tight in these months then you will not be left behind. SO don't waste time by overthinking about competition and STUDY.
I hope this answer will help.
All the best for the future and JEE !!
