Dear student don't be upset with this, you still havw time. I was also asking the same question while I was preparing for my NTSE, going through lots of online courses and test series but, I was unable to find the solution that would actually help me. As national-talent search examination, is opted to be one of the hardest examinations  in India, every year nearly 9,00,000 to 10,00,000 students from class 10th appear in exam for the 1st stage of examination and only 5000 are selected for the stage 2. Okay, enough numbers, whats the solution.

NTSE has two stages.

Stage one and Stage two which are State level and national level respectively.

Stage one is divided into two parts :- MAT and SAT.

MAT

MAT stands for Mental Ability Test which contains 100 MCQs, Each right answer rewards you with 1 score and wrong answer takes away your NOTHING. That sounds good doesnt it. So it is always suggested not to leave any question empty. (JAI MATA DI ) you have 120 min for this.

SAT

It Contains Social Science, Science and Maths. 40 on Social Science, 40 on Science and 20 Maths. Each right answer rewards 1 and wrong answer takes away NOTHING. (That is, no negative marking.) You have 120 minutes for this. The questions vary from MCQs to Matching to True and False.

Second Level

The Pattern and the no. of questions is similar. The difference is now in the difficulty level of questions. Also, this time its on National Level.

So now we know enough about our Target. Now we can concentrate over our path to achieving that particular Target.

Every war starts with knowing what you are best at and where you lack. Start by doing a little SWAT analysis. Write down your weaknesses and strengths. Find out which subjects help you and which do not. After this now you know what are your loop holes that need a lot of work. And now work over them steadily.

Now that we know our problems its time to figure out how you should study and for how long.

A well planned strategy always works in a war. Start with the listing down the subjects and then decide which subjects need most of your time and which need the least. Keep your priorities straight and be sure that you don't neglect any subject completely.

  • Get daily goals
Follow a particular tree if you want to cross the forest.

Get daily goals to complete your humongous syllabus. Set goals (which are humanly possible) and accomplish them then give yourself a little reward at the end of the day to keep yourself motivated. (make sure that reward does not take half of your time!)

  • Get Started with Sample papers and mock tests.
Having the right sample papers is very important. Getting the right sample papers and solving them will give you an idea about how things will be in the examination room. Incase you are wondering from where to get them, then instead of relying on irrelevant study material prefer standard study material like NTSEguru, ashwamegh (https://www.ntseguru.in/) where the level of questions actually matches with the level of examination.

Now that you finally have a plan, Start executing it. Start every early morning with a little revision and then get back to your daily goals and make sure to get a proper 6 hours rest.

Remember one thing, don't put so much pressure on yourself. Keep practicing the same routine daily. This will surely help you.

All the best

Hope this helps
