Yes, it is possible to crack it in one year.
Since you are asking for a plan also. I’ll give you a layout.
First of all give up on few things.
1.Smartphone
2.Internet
3.Laptop
4.Any other technical gadget that might distract you.
Now a lot of people might disagree with this. But since you have less time, it will help you. Get a simple phone like Nokia 1100 and restrict yourself from using that also for long time. You will have a lifetime left to use smartphones.
Now since you are away from distractions, lets get to the plan.
*Get a big notebook only to tear pages from it. Also get a file.
*Make a list of all the chapters subject wise. Divide your list into 11th and 12th chapters. Further divide your list into sub-topics creating a hierarchical structure. Take a hint from this IIT JEE Syllabus.
*Now pick your lowest level topics one by one and start studying. Read the concepts, memorize the formulas.
*Once you have finished studying. Tear 2 pages from the middle of aforementioned notebook. Write down important concepts and formulas from that chapter into those pages. Put these pages in a file.
*Practice. Pickup all your resources and practice. After you have done some practice, try to solve any problem of that chapter in less than 3 minutes. While practicing, you might find some formula or concept being used repeatedly. Include it in those 2 pages.
*Mark a tick in front of the chapter’s name on your list once you’re done with practicing stage 1. After few months revise the chapter and mark a second tick.
"Repeat 1–6 for all important (close to 100) chapters. You can completely skip a few chapters if you want. Make a target to mark 2 ticks at least in front of all chapters.
There you go. This is just a layout. You can make changes and create your custom plan. Preparing for JEE is a great experience in itself.
Best of Luck.
I'm glad that you wish to prepare for JEE. It's an entrance examination for a majority of India's Engineering Colleges.
I recommend you to give entrance tests of multiple coaching institutions and choose one of them for your preparation. There are plenty of options there.
You should practice previous year question papers of JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to better prepare yourself for the type of questions. Attempt as many practice tests and mock tests as you can. The more you attempt, the better the idea you gain of the questions of the exam.
Apart from NCERT, try to do questions from different reference books to get a practice of a wider variety of questions.
Lastly, keep yourself encouraged for the whole journey as the preparation journey of JEE can be treacherous but all you need to do is stay consistent.
You will have a good chance at cracking JEE if you do the above consistently throughout the year.
