How do i self attest my documents for du registration?
You have to take photostat copies of the required documents, write your name and sign at the bottom right corner of the copies.
If the application is online, the certificates like marklist, migration certificate, T.C, Provisional Certificate etc should be self attested, which means add your name and sign in the copy to ensure its authenticity, and scan them inroder to upload in the site.
If the application is offline, you will have to attach these copies with your name and sign added along with the application while sending it to the specific university or college according to your preference.

At the bottom of the xeroxed/photostat copy, you just sign and put the date. You’re attesting it yourself about the content and the veracity of the copy. It’s a very common practice in India these days. It is done just for the assurance from the university side.
