You should start your preparation with guidance of expert teachers. Interact with them, ask your doubts, overcome your weekness and make plan accordingly.

I started my preparation of class 11th last year, initially i was also lacking on many ways. I had a chance to interact with best faculties of India and they suggested me the way. You can also join this workshop

Here, we will provide essential IIT JEE Main and Advanced preparation tips from class 11:

  • Begin by understanding the past exam trends. You can do this through available information online or analysing at least past five years papers on your own.
  • Subject wise analysis is very important.
  • Physics: The subject encompasses aspects of: Optics, Electrodynamics, Modern Physics, Heat and thermodynamics and mechanics.
  • Chemistry: The subject encompasses modules like physical, inorganic and organic chemistry. Physical chemistry brings along questions from kinetics, chemical equilibrium etc. Nomenclature, general organic chemistry are observing fewer questions in organic chemistry. Although alkanes, alkynes, polymers, carbonyls etc see rising number of questions.
  • Mathematics: The subject is all about practice. A perfect plan must include dedicated time for practicing all mathematical problems. For the last five years, differential calcuy has been dominating the question papers, consistency followed by coordinate geometry.
  • You need to utilise each minute wisely and prepare a personalized full proof timetable.
  • If you feel the need you can enroll in professional online classes for JEE preparation, under the guidance of experts. Online classes also save a lot of travel time.
  • All the three subjects need practice for formula, theorem, chemical equations and more.
    • Hope this will help you

Dear Student,

First of all I want to say that you have taken a right decision about jee preparation.

It's a right time to start the preparation.

Then you have to gather all the previous year question papers from different sources. These things have to be done before class 10th result. Now when all things all set then from the very first of your commencement of class 11th your have start working hard by understanding all the basic concepts of physics, chemistry and math along with  practice the questions from  the topics which are you reading from previous years question papers.

Same things you have to do in your class 12th also then at last during January to March give as many mock test as possible because mocks play a vital role in your preparation.

For time-table:

I think it's depends upon person to person, every person is different and their way of doing work also.

One important thing I can suggest you is that you should make a formula copy and maintain it everyday. It will help you a lot.

ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR PREPARATION!!

DO WELL IN YOUR EXAM.

There’s only one time table: Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached :) ~Swami Vivekananda

So keep studying till you achieve a very good level as per your expectation and need !

Complete guide for IIT JEE:

1. Be sincere in your efforts (Half hearted hard work doesn’t give fruitful results !)

2. Practice from limited and standard books like HC VERMA, etc. Dont do too many books. Do limited books, and do it more number of times. Become perfect in them.

3. Get a good Guru, if you can find ! Guru is the person who knows what should be done and what should not be done. He/she is the best guide.

4.Focus more on previous year questions of IIT JEE

Physics: Start with HC Verma. Then go ahead with IIT JEE Questions directly. Dont go for any other crap books. Also other books from Arihant and GRB are good .. However if u have time left after doing previous years, you can solve Irodov, Resnick, Krotov etc !

Chemistry: NCERT most important. Other than that, for reference, use OP Tandon, MS Chouhan, Pradeeps, Morrison and Boyd, Himanshu Pandey, P Bahadur, SN Sanyal etc. Other books from GRB and Arihant are also good !

Maths: Start with NCERT, RD. Then go ahead with A Das Gupta, MCQ in Maths, Advanced Problems in JEE (Balaji) and then previous year questions from Arihant 39 years !etc More books of Arihant and GRB can be used if needed.

Practice previous year IIT JEE questions MANY TIMES (You can use Arihant 39 years for that ! ) . Become perfect in them. Solve other people’s doubts. These will help you score better :). People run after so many modules and crap test series. Instead you should focus on limited material and do it more number of times !! Many questions ask only basic concepts but a good clarity in them. Self study is definitely most important. But coaching really helps you score more

Mantra: Arise awake and stop not till the goal is reached :) ~Swami Vivekananda

This is what Bruce Lee used to say: I do not fear the man who has practiced 10 thousand kicks once but the one who has practiced 1 kick 10 thousand times ! :) So do limited things and become prefect in them !

Also, I recommend all my students to practice Sudarshan Kriya of the Art of Living. It gives you very good clarity of mind and keeps you focused in exams. In fact Nishita Purohit (AIIMS Rank 1) used to practice it daily !

Best Wishes
