How does environmental engineering differ from civil engineering?

Environmental engineering is study of environmental planning, Township and City Management, Ecosytem Balancing, waste and disaster management, urvan and regional planning, Law, etc.



Majority of Environmenatl engineering grads work for Engineering Government services and some for technical consulting services.



Roles involve advisory to Corporation and government bodies on hazardous health checks and tracking improvement of environmental programs, updatibg databses and obtaining permits, providing technical support to legal actions, monitoring data and quality checks.



Civil Engineering on other hand is majorly concerned with Construction and design planning, Urban transportation and ship and port management, operations of existing infrastructure and its qualitative maintaining.



The scope for Civil Engineering grads is much wider with twon plannjng, Internet of things and Government program like Make in India coming to action.
