EWS reservation is for those Candidates who belong to General Category but have household income less than 8 lakhs per annum. They are entitled for 10% reservation. Now if you want to avail EWS reservation, you can claim it. A EWS certificate is valid for 1 financial year. So it must have expired by March/April of 2020. If you want to avail EWS reservation, you have to get it renewed.
