Forest Support ecological system and moderate global climate in many ways. Some of them are  -

• The forests play a vital role in regional climate  regulation by their interaction with water cycles and contribute significantly to continuous water supply in small- and large-scale water cycles. Planting trees in cities provides shade and increases the evaporation of water. This cools the microclimate and can reduce the costs of artificial air conditioning.
• Wildlife is an integral part of any healthy  forest community. Natural Forests provide habitat  to wild plants and animals and thereby contribute to the (in situ) conservation of biological and genetic diversity and the evolutionary development.
