How does girls reservation benefit to OBC girls in JEE advanc 2018..only 3140 OBC qualified who themselves will get IIT without reservation

This year supernumerary seats hav ebene added and seperately merit list has been pubkished for girls to increase female to male ratio.



Reservations criteria for ObC in all IITs is 27% and hence for girls extra 14% will be created.



Means even if 9% is filled then extra 5% shall be created.



Approximately 4000 girl students shall be admitted into IITs this year.

So those girls who have not qualified under OBC can also get IIT?
