The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct NEET 2021 counselling in the last week of October. NEET-UG counselling 2021 will be held for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BVSc & AH and BSc Nursing courses.
Eligibility criteria for neet counselling.
Only NEET qualified candidates are eligible to apply for NEET 2021 counselling.
Jammu and Kashmir candidates will not be eligible to participate in All India NEET counselling unless they give their assent.
Candidates who have registered on MCC website for NEET 2021 counselling
All NEET qualified candidates are eligible to participate in the AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities.
MCC will conduct the counselling of NEET-UG 2021 in the last week of October at mcc.nic.in. There will be two rounds for NEET counselling for AIQ seats. While a mop-up round for NEET 2021 counselling will be held for deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. The step by step process is as follows:
Step 1: MCC NEET registration including payment
Step 2: Choice filling and locking for NEET 2021 counselling
Step 3: Seat allotment for round 1 and result publication
Step 4: Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College (free entry/exit option available)
Step 5: Publication of net vacant seats for round 2
Step 6: Registration (not required for already registered candidates) & fresh choice filling for NEET counselling round 2
Step 7: Seat allotment round 2 (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)
Step 8: Reporting at the Medical / Dental Colleges /Institutions against round 2 (candidates once joined the allotted seat are not allowed to vacate the seat).
Documents required for neet counselling
NEET Admit Card
NEET Scorecard or Rank Letter
Class 10 certificate and mark sheet (for date of birth)
Class 12 certificate and mark sheet
ID proof (Aadhar/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
Eight passport size photographs
Provisional Allotment Letter
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
PwD Certificate (if applicable)
NRI/ OCI candidates appearing for Deemed Universities must submit the following documents
Passport copy of sponsored, embassy certificate
Sponsorship affidavit (stating that sponsorer is ready to bear the expenses for the whole duration of study)
Relationship Affidavit (Relation of Candidate with the sponsorer)
