Yes, you can take admission in any DU college using this relaxation. The Delhi University (DU) has decided to implement uniform relaxation criterion — one per cent relief in the cut-off — for female candidates seeking admissions in 26 co-ed colleges for undergraduate courses from this academic session onwards.
Students passing from school from Delhi will not get any reservation in colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi. Delhi University has rejected the proposal of State Government for reservation in admission to students from Delhi in colleges funded by the state government. Presently, the colleges offer 1% to 4 % relaxation to women candidates in the cut-off. There is reservation for reserved category is that is SC/ST/OBC/EWS that is economically weaker section of about 10% in Delhi University. There is reservation for students belonging to army family , Kashmiri migrants etc .
Around 26 colleges including :-
1. Ramjas College
2. Sri Venkateswara College
3. Aryabhatta College
4. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College
5. Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar College
6. Dyal Singh College (morning and evening)
7. Keshav Mahavidyalaya,
8. Motilal Nehru College (morning and evening )
9. Ram Lal Anand College
10. PGDAV College (morning and evening)
11. Rajdhani College, Ramanujan College
12. Shivaji College
13. Satyawati College (morning and evening)
14. Zakir Husain Delhi College (morning and evening)
will offer 1% relaxation to women candidates. This relaxation will be applicable in almost all courses. Many of these colleges, including Ramjas, were offering 2% to 3 % relaxation to female candidates till last year.
