How does the first, second and extended round of kcet counselling work? What should I do if I got 49698 rank in general merit?

Congrats on your rank.
KCET releases it's cut off in 3 round, many students don't response to colleges in first round, so there is further round counseling. It depends on student response to colleges.
It would have been more clear if you would have mentioned your preferred branch, however these are the top colleges under your rank.
