How does verbal (153), quant (163) and AWA (3.5) stand with a 5 year relevant exp for MS in CS related courses (HCI/ AI) from a good US Uni.

Hi Anish,

What was your CGPA? A lot of admission criteria also depends upon your CGPA. Assuming you have a CGPA of 3 and above,a number of universities may accept you. A few of them are:

The University of Kansas, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of South Carolina, University of South Florida are a few of them. You will also be required to have a TOEFL score of 90+  to qualify.

Thank you Shivani. I did get a TOEFL score of 105, and have a decent CGPA 8.83/10 in UG (I have sent my transcripts to WES for course by course evaluation, so still waiting for US equivalent). I realize that my verbal and AWA is toward the lower side, how much does that impact applications to technical courses in Schools like Northwestern and UC Berkely?
