most colleges offer basic sciences BSc courses on the basis of an admission test and some directly formulate merit list on the basis of the board examination scores of the candidates although there are some which take into account both and formulator merit list of their own
Most colleges that are separate first second and third merit lists with the provision of the letter candidates getting a chance in case the former candidates get better career opportunities and do not opt for the seats in those colleges
