To get a seat , after qualifying neet, you need to participate in neet counselling in which you are alloted a seat on the basis of your rank in neet.

Here's how you can get a seat in mbbs etc.

*Appear in Neet examination

• To be eligible for neet 2021 you should be either appearing for 12th board 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category. *Qualify neet examination. Qualifying cut off in neet is given below

• General :- 50th Percentile

• OBC:-  40th Percentile

• SC :-40th Percentile

• ST :-  40th percentile

To be on the safer side, out of 720 marks, target at least around 580 -600 marks for state quota mbbs seats and 650 marks in neet for All india quota mbbs seats if you belong to general category.

* Participate in neet counselling. There are 2 counsellings -

• Mcc counselling :- It is conducted for 15% AIQ seats, 100% Deemed Universities seats, Central Universities  seats (Delhi University, AMU & BHU ), 100% ESIC seats , AFMC  seats (only Registration Part) & I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML & ESIC Dental, Delhi ,100% AIIMS seats & 100% JIPMER seats

*In the counselling, you can get a seat in a college on the basis of your rank in NEET examination and the category you belong to .

* Then you have to report to the college and get your documents verified.
