The Mumbai and Pune campus are decent, though not comparable to the Hyderabad campus. But companies do visit the campus and you can attract companies also if you perform well and moreover Mumbai has immense opportunities. Moreover this year they have attracted quite a few good companies and the placement packages went as high as 14 Lpa. You you can definitely check them out.
All the very best
Hello Varsha Thakur,
All IBS campuses are unregulated except for Hyderabad, its flagship.
IBS is a factory….churning out a 1000 plus MBA’s students every year from its Mumbai Campus. The competition in placements is intense.
It has no academic accreditation and is not approved by AICTE, hence the paper Certificate (PGPM) you receive is completely worthless, given it has no standing in India or abroad. You cannot do further studies for starters….
AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India insists on ownership of the land and frowns on rental models as there is no skin in the game. From a profit perspective, this model can scale very easily.
The reason why SPJIMR has kept its unbelievable track record of being a Top 5 B-school in the country is because it has limited its PGDM seats to 240. Any institutions with over 300 seats in a particular intake is going to suffer in quality.
My personal advice is stay away from Institutions not recognized by the Government like AICTE, those that have over 300 students in an intake are sacrificing quality for profit.
Thank you.
