hello aspirant,

ms ramaia is a good institute with good placement opportunities. right now electronics and communication is most desirable stream right after computer science. i dont know what you want to know mentioning research opportunities. btech is a undergraduate course. here you will be introduced to different technology, you will get trainings on cutting edge technologies. btech is the basic studies which is need to do after 10+2 for doing engineering. if you are interested you can do project on different research topic and publish paper in the final year of studies.

hope you have understood.

Hi Navadeep,

All the good things you hear, read and see about this college are mostly true, except:- >hostel >hostel food is so bad, you can't stand it for more than 2 months if you are a fresher, if not, you will not even bother eating in mess. >you cant enter the hostel after 10:30pm (boys) and 10:00pm (girls) unless you have peremission from the warden, not sure about girls >outside food and friends are not allowed inside the hostel premesis !!!!???? X( >it is mendatory for you to pay the "collection money" for some local/indian festival if seniors come to the hostel and ask for it. >no wifi >placement is sky touching only for CSE and ISE branches.. ECE is also in game, but rest are in a very poor condition, so join here only if u r getting one of those branches. >ground is so bad you will quit any outdoor sports you play right after you join the college. nearest ground with grasses in it is like 1 km away but they charge approx rs. 2000/- for 1 hr. > indoor games complex contains only 1 badminton court, table tennis hall and carrom hall.. which remains closed on saturday and sunday and any other holiday and any chance they get to close it. >college overs at an avg of 4 pm, and the indoor complex closes at 6:15 pm. >swimming pool is not there... nearest one is 2 km away and its fairly chargeable. >this is not IIT so dont expect a class faculty whose own subject knowledge is outstanding and who will take interest in teaching and most importantly, in YOU. Their primary objective is to complete the syllabus, by hook or by crook. NOTE : if i missed something, then it is surely good

I hope this answer was useful.

All the best for your future!
