Placement wise - most placements in Mass Recruiters but yes core companies do visit.
Attendance rules- very strict and not worth all the hush hush
Infrastructure- Nice but one must know how to utilize it.
Library- Well Equipped.
Fees- Very High
Rules - Very Strict
Knowledge- Student’s own efforts and maybe some help from faculty.
Exam pattern - less focus on testing subject knowledge so if u are planning for GATE n all, u will find them as a hindrance to your ECE preparation.
Finally- Mostly students go for Mass Recruiters, some go for MS, some prepare for CAT, some go for Govt job hunt. Alumni base is nice and can help in future career option.

ECE, you will get somehow a "job". If you have registered for placement, that's a guarantee that VIT gives to you.

But yes getting a core job will be just a dream! Around 20-25 people will get placed in the end.
Knowledge point of view, you can gain much. As the facilities are good, but only if you are lucky one to get permission to use them (Its the most quirky thing with ECE lab in-charges).
