In terms of pedagogy and student life definitely Vellore Institute of Technology has been doing great. The college also runs bodies such as IEEE etc which provides the students an extended opportunity to work beyond academics.

Besides as far as placements are concerned companies like GE, L&T, ABB, Whirlpool, Deloitte, TATA, Ford, JP Morgan, Mu Sigma etc had visited the campus in the past for recruiting students from EEE branch.

As per the reviews by most of the students at VIT,the placement scenario is just average at VIT for EEE.It is said that most of the EEE students get placed in IT companies and the rest who get placed in the core companies have an average package around 3-5 lakhs.As the placement scenario is not good for this branch,it is said by many students at VIT to go abroad for further studies.Hope this helps.Thank You.
