how good is the environment at Christ University and the placements scenario
Dear Aspirant,
Christ (Deemed to be University) is known for its infrastructure and faculty. It has ranked in India's top ten universities for various subjects. Of course, every place has its pros and cons and definitely has a taste of politics because college is where we ultimately learn how life is supposed to be. Christ is also famous for how strict it is. The dress code is crucial in the hours between 9-4 or based on the course, the timing and after and before they allow casuals if they are required for rehearsals or practice. The attendance policies are pretty strict but college gives it in the form of yellow forms and white forms if it is a co-curricular of departmental thing and blue forms for medical. But nevertheless, 85% attendance is mandatory.
The college is always filled with vigour. There are fests going on always by some or the other departments. These fests are absolutely amazing if your department is nice enough to let you participate in the same. The infrastructure is classic. The main auditorium is one of the biggest in Bangalore and there are many more auditoriums in the college itself with different capacity. The canteen food has everything you would want to eat. The environment though pretty strict is not like school which is a misconception. It's just that Christ will really push you to do everything on time. From assignments to reaching class, you are bound to find it hectic initially.
Placements are good. All top companies regularly visit for placements which are pretty decent. If depends on the course actually but they have policies regarding that as well.
Hi Jonathan
Hope you are doing good
CHRIST (Deemed to be University ) has three campuses in Bengaluru. The Main campus on the Hosur Road, one in Kengeri and the latest campus on the Bannerghatta road.
As I move to the feedback of this university honestly people are saying that classes are ill and very internal politics are there .
In full I heard total 2 positive feedback out of 5 feedbacks .so I will rate it as a moderate behavior
