How good is the ifim banglore? How abt ROI? Is it worth doing MBA OVER THERE?
HELLO AKSHAY ,
IFIM BANGALORE IS A VERY GOOD COLLEGE WHICH I CONSIDERED AHS VERY GOOD RANK AND RATING ALSO, AND IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT RATING IT’S ABOUT THE INFRASTRUCTURE, PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITITES AND PRACTICAL EXPOSURE THAT THE COLLEGE PROVIDES WHICH MAKES THE COLLEGE BEST. AND AS WE ALL KNOW THAT MBA IS A POST GRADUATION PROGRAMME THAT NEEDS PRACTICAL AS WELL A PROFESSIONAL EXPOSURE THAT HELPS A PERSON TO SURVIVE IN THE PROFESSIONAL ENVIORNMET.
Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good. One of the big four accounting firms named PwC visited the college recently and recruited 40 students. Main recruiters of IFIM Business School are Dolomite, PwC, KPMG, Oracle, Ensure, Cafe Coffee Day, Nestle, Dell, Capital First, HDFC, ICICI Prudential, IDBI and many other MNCs
Infrastructure : We have one of the best libraries among B-Schools in South India, and the facilities like Wi-Fi and classrooms are pretty good compared to other B-Schools. One thing that I like about our college is the personal enhance programme which makes everyone fit, and it motivates all the students. They conduct games regularly.
Faculty: There are well-trained faculty members. Our faculty members are trained and have teaching experience at IIMs. Some of our faculty members worked as deans for IIMs. They also organise guest lectures by inviting professors from various domains. As far as the course curriculum is concerned, we have a bespoke management course as we can choose our own subjects from starting of our PGDM course which helps us from the initial stages of the course itself.
ONE MORE THING WANT TO TELL YOU THAT BEFORE TAKING ADMISSION IN ANY COLLEGE DO STUDY AND RESEARCH ABOUT IT.
HERE IS THE LIST OF SOME TOP COLLEGES:
1) FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, NEW DELHI
2) INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, AHMEDABAD
3) INDIAN INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES, KOLKATA
HOPE IT HELPS
ALL THE BEST !
Greetings,
Akshay so the creditability of a college can be calculated the kind of exposure it gives its students, packages, etc. College also earns it name in years. It was established in 1995 which provides credibility on the part of college.
If we talk about packages then the average package is around 4-7 lakh and highest package went up till 14 lakh so by this it can be inferred that return on investment is good. If we take fee into consideration then it is around 5 lakh, It is also a private college so we can expect fee to go up that high but it will also provide a good platform for you in future.
They have a good placement cell and almost every company visit the college. It is affiliated by Bangalore University so if you if you get good marks or top the university then you can create your own worth in university as well as your college.
Coming to the worthiness of the college, I would say it is after looking at the placement cell and average package offered but in the end wherever you study you need to work hard and make yourself capable.
Even a student studying in top MBA colleges sometimes can fail to get job because they might have been average in their college and while giving placements from a particular college good companies with huge package provide jobs to only top rankers so if you one of top students even in IFIM you will grab a job in these top companies because they anyway visit this college also as they visit other top MBA colleges.
I hope this article might have helped you figure out which way to lead even after that if you are confused or want suggestion for any other college or want list of other college or are not satisfied with the answer do drop a comment or post another question and I will surely help you out .
