NCERT is most important for your NEET and other entrances preparation along with that you can consider standard reference books as well. Try to cover the topics as per the weightage. But if we go with previous years question papers and trend, more questions have been asked from Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Ecology, Cell Biology, Biotechnology and Biomolecules.

After studying every topic you must solve the exercise questions.Past years question papers of Biology are the best source of revision and practice.

Plantae and Animalia topics must be prepared carefully because it is exhaustive and time-consuming. However, more emphasis must be on the characters of Phylum in Non-Chordates and up to the class level in Chordates. You are advised to study all the examples given in NCERT along with the common name.

Hope this helps!!!
