Preparation is a continuous process. However, having a plan is essential to provide a routine as it gives an edge and method of preparing for NEET. So, the very first step is to realize that time is valuable and a slight wastage of it may have an everlasting effect. Be it the school tests, exams and homework, everything has to be incorporated into the preparation strategy for NEET.

In order to crack the NEET exam, a thorough look into the syllabus is a prerequisite. Only if you know the NEET 2020 syllabus well, can you prepare for NEET at home without hassles. NEET syllabus has its base in the NCERT textbooks. Making a mind map of the syllabus would be handy to keep the preparation of NEET exam on track. It will also help in realizing the strong and weak areas and can be useful in determining the topics that need more time and efforts.

Begin with strengthening the basics with NCERT Textbooks

It would become evident from a look into the syllabus that NCERT textbooks for class 11 and 12 are the keys to the important topics. These textbooks are also followed in the schools affiliated to the CBSE. Therefore, you should do the best efforts in reading the NCERTs with proper understanding in order to give a smooth start to your preparation for NEET.

While one prepares for NEET , it is imperative to practise the questions to check the clarity of the concepts learnt. It also enhances the level of understanding the language of questions. Therefore, practising the mock tests is as essential as learning the concept in the first place. Solving mock tests also develops the habit of completing the questions within the stipulated time.

At the end Revision.

It is said that the human brain tends to lose out the facts if not revised on a regular basis. This is prevalent to most of us. But a chance of losing conceptual information cannot be taken while one is preparing for NEET at home. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that your time table comes with a day fixed for revision only or you can revise the concepts every alternate day before sleeping or every morning as you wake up fresh to the new day! Revision can be made fun if the concepts, diagrams, formulas are carved out on a paper or sheet and pasted around your study place.

I Hope this helps.
