Hi there.
The BVSc, or Bachelor of Veterinary Science, is a five and a half year undergraduate degree that focuses on the study of medical diagnostics and the treatment of illnesses in all animals. Given how many animals people own as pets, veterinarians are crucial.
The minimal requirement for admission to this programme is a 10+2 diploma in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 50% from CBSE/ICSE/State Board or an equivalent.
The majority of veterinary colleges admit students based on their performance on admission exams administered by the different institutions. For entry into the first year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH) programme, the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) administers the All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT).
