The admission procedures of BHMS is usually done through the entrance exam. Candidates who want to pursue their career in BHMS has to go through various entrance examinations conducted at the state as well as national level. Selection is done based on the scores obtained in the specific entrance examination along with a round of group discussion and personal interview. If the candidates will be able to qualify all these rounds, then they are all shortlisted and hence they will be allowed for admission and counselling procedures.

For admission into the BHMS course, it is compulsory to appear for NEET examination. The eligibility criteria for NEET is to have 50% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English for general category and 45% for reserved category. Candidate must be of 17 years of age. There is no upper limit for the NEET examination. Various states conducts their own entrance examination for admission into the course. However, NEET score is accepted centrally by all the institutions over India.
After sitting for NEET,you need to appear for the ayush counselling process for the course as per the schedule. You will be allocated BHMS course as per your marks in the entrance examination and cutoff required for the particular college.
