You can say that ADIT falls in tier 2 of engineering colleges in Gujarat along with GCET, BVM, SCET, CHARUSAT, VGEC, LDRP, etc. Whereas tier 1 comprises of NIRMA, DAIICT, SVNIT, IITGN, DDU, MSU, LD, PDPU, etc.

Specifically talking about ADIT, it's the sister institute of BVM and GCET, all three have more or less the similar environment and system except BVM because of it's GIA funding. ADIT is located slightly away from the main city but almost all facilities are available in its distant campus as well.

Regarding academics, it's comparatively lenient to GCET and stricter than BVM (GIA). But it's nowhere as hectic as DDU or NIRMA, you will easily be able to get through it along with enjoying your engineering or college life. Attendance is not a matter of life and death, you shall just do fine by maintaining it in the 50-60% bracket. The staff is friendly enough to accommodate you in the setting and knowledgeable enough if you really want to study hard. You have a chance to get recruited in major names like TCS, IGate, L&T infotech, etc along with other 20-30 local or not so famous ones as well. It's the same for almost all tier 2 colleges, better ones arrive only in tier 1. Positive aspect is that almost everyone interested if deserving, gets placed, it's a virtual 100% placement.
