Hi,

NITs are India's one of the finest and most renowned institutes that offer B.tech in Engineering. Whole process revolves around your JEE mains score and they determine whether you get into NITs or not.

Jee mains result out so now you have to register yourself on the JoSAA site( https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Public/home.aspx ) and do your choice filling in which your have to fill the colleges in the order of preference and pay the counselling fee. And then you have to wait for the reults and if your rank lies in the college of your choice you have to go to the college for further admission process. Registration for the counselling is now open and last date of registration is 25th june. So if you have not done it yet I'll say you should hurry.

Hello,

The admission process is done in the following steps -:

1. After the announcement of jee advance result,  counselling is started.

2. After this, within 3-4 days you have to fill up the form with your preference of college and branch. You can fill the form on the official website of jee.

3. Counselling is done in 7 round. The one who has high marks will get their preferred college and branch. This continues until the 7th round.

4. If a seat is allotted to you then you have to report in reporting centres which will be told you on the official website. You have to accept it before the 7th round otherwise you won't get your alloted seat.

5. To accept an alloted seat, the candidate must pay the seat acceptance fees.

6. Fee for sc, st and pwd is 20,000 Rs. And for the rest of the categories it is 45,000 Rs.
