How is ajeenkya dy patil University for Btech in C.S. ?
Hii Nishtha Mehta ,
Most of us keep placements on top of our list when looking out for a University or a college. And why not? Isn’t that the end goal? maybe or maynot be!
The computer science stream is topping all the charts with excellent packages that are put on the table for computer engineers from dream companies like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Adobe and many more. So if you want to become a computer science engineer who has a spark then nothing is stopping you.
ADYPU offers B.Tech & M.Tech Computer Engineering courses are the results so far have been encouraging and positive. The university is relatively new but it’s an extended arm off DY Patil University which is known for their quality education. Though I may not know about the faculty and their teaching methodology, the curriculum looks solid where the students can explore a variety of specializations through the 07 tracks that are there. The mode of Instruction combines of lectures, discussion, laboratory and highly practical projects.
They tutor their students to work in hi-tech industries where one can contribute in artificial intelligence, software design, robotics, cloud computing, data analytics and other domains. You can get job roles such as project managers, software testing engineers, and system administrators and so on. Computer Engineers are highly in demand in industries such as Aerospace, Automobile Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Aviation, Banking and Finance and other domains.
Key recruiters who hire grads are HCL, Amazon, Wipro, Facebook, Flipkart, Google , Microsoft, Ola Cabs, Cisco, Meru cabs, Oracle, Snapdeal , American express, IBM, Accenture, Yahoo, McAfee, Rediff, TCS, Ebay , Adobe, Infosys, Myntra, Apple Inc, Intel, etc.
Only Cons I think of is :
it is located in a remote area and is new. Teaching staff is said to be mediocre. Mandatory attendance is compulsory. One can expect them to be comparable to other reputed D Y Patil campuses but one can never be sure.
Afterall everything in this world has Pros & Cons.
So, all in all, it seems like a good start and the University is lavishly spread in Lohegaon, Pune. I do think here you’ll gain valuable skills benefiting you personally and professionally.
