How is Amity University Patna for engineering and placements?

Amity is one of the leading private institutes of India, they are seen everywhere when it comes to marketing.

You might have seen AMITY's advertisements during IPL commercial breaks.

Amity University has good placement records and no matter which campus you study, you get a degree from AMITY University. Their degree has international recognition, as they have a campus in countries such as Dubai, Singapore, Mauritius, China. Also you'll see foreign students studying here. They have a complete chain of campuses in India.

Although they give scholarships to meritorious students, still according to me their fee structure is quite high. It is about ₹122000 per year.

Now coming to your question:

Amity's main campus in India is in the Delhi region, so you can expect the average placement of that campuses will to be better than Amity Patna. Therefore according to me the value for money is less. The highest package here was 9 lpa. The average was around 4.5 lpa. Consider this institute only for CSE branch, as the best company that visits this campus is IBM. For other branches, companies such as Aditya Birla Group, Pepsico, Vodafone, Airtel, etc. visit here, but their package will be quite low. Therefore, if you are not able to excel in this college, you may expect a placement of about 2-3 lpa, or even not getting a placement at all.

Therefore you can not expect a very good placement from here, only some recognition is what you can expect.

At last, if you have no option left with you, and you are financially sound, you may pursue this institute as the degree of AMITY has value.

Amity university enrolls students in engineering in field of Civil engineering, CS, IT, Electrical and Electronics engineering.  Amity Patna is worth the time and money and one can pursue his engineering in any of the above field.

***As far as placement is concerned:-

(1) Highest package was 8-10 Lakh

(2)Average package is 3-5 lakh which is pretty much good for a fresh graduate who doesn't have any  experience.

(3)Major recruiters like Blue star, Coca Cola, BPL, British Airways, Canon India Ltd. , Citibank ESPN sports and many others come for placement.
