Placements : Placements in the previous years were not satisfying, but from the past five years including this year, the placements were excellent. A total of 197 students got placed this year (2019) out of almost 370 students. Later, many students were placed through off-campus placements. This year, the main recruiters were Infosys and CTS.

Infrastructure : The infrastructure of the college at Poddar Vihar is not satisfying. There is no ground, and the space in front of the buildings was very less. But, the campus is hygienic and very clean. Toilets are cleaned every day. The whole campus has a lot of greenery. There are common rooms for boys and girls. There is an activity room. All the classrooms have projectors and notice boards. Laboratories are well-equipped with new instruments.

Faculty : The college strictly follows the course curriculum designed by MAKAUT. There are boards in classrooms where information about course outcomes and course plan for a particular semester are provided. The faculty members are all highly qualified and very focused on their teaching. Faculty members have provided their phone numbers on the college website to provide academic help to students. They not only teach us but also inspire us for on-hand projects. Leaving two faculty members in our stream, the other faculty members are the best at their work. They generally teach us using the board and chalk (multiple colours). Faculty members also use the projector to show 3D diagrams and PPTs.

Other : Wi-Fi facility is available, but there is a certain limit for data usage. The college is strict about discipline. The college is 100% ragging and drug-free. The college has won Hackathon twice in national competition (2017 and 2018), and Hackathon in Bengal in 2019. The location of the college is great as it is just beside the V.I.P road near Haldiram bus stop.
