Chandigarh University , I know thats a good name and many students are fascinated by this. They think that they will go to this university and will live in chandigarh, And if you are looking for a better future than you can see their placements which are like a needle in a desert. What you will find here is just Computer Science students.

There are 3000 CSE students and you have to compete among 3000 students to get the Placement.it doesn’t matter if 100 students out of 3000 get placed. At least, in government colleges 40 students are placed out of 60 . And their rules are even worst than school, they will make you attend classes from 9:30 AM to 4:20 PM continuously, which is very irritating and you even cannot bunk classes because of 75% attendance rule. So, if you are thinking of sitting in park or benches or corridors and chilling out with friends then this university is not for you. It will keep you like a prisoner in classes till 4:20. This university is all about completing assignments and submitting them on time and the teachers here are also not experienced and they just don't know how to teach and will make your life hell.

It is worse then school and the students have no freedom and if you want to go in any workshop then they will still mark you absent, I don't know what is the benefit of taking Duty leave when they have no value. And ya, I have proof that this university is not worth taking admission, It is that the I didn't see any chandigarh resident students coming to the university, all students are from different states just like you are. So, if u take admission here then forget about chandigarh. And now about Hostel, The food here is not good,

First of all in CU there is no courses of Btech .Here is B.E(Bachelor of engineering ) courses available almost of every branch from CS to Mechatronic to Aerospace.Yes Aerospace and Mechtronics also. CSE is the most choosen course in our University,as the placement record is also good in CSE.B.E is somewhat same as of Btech.Even B.E courses are more professional in its own way.

Second of all,CU offers every possible way to excel their student.If you have little zeal to learn more and explore more .Then CU may be the best option for you .And about the workshops and professional summer courses they are organised time to time.The kind of extra activities, workshops or skill development programs organized in the university are exemplary. Even Google,Microsoft ,IBM and so many reputed company comes here for conducting workshops and interacting session are my personel favorite.Placement record of the University is too good .

Chandigarh University is a Private University located in Mohali, Punjab. The annual tuition fee is RS. 165000. They have a very good curriculum. They offer all the courses with specialization in each. They provide various opportunities to various fields. However, they may lack in certain management values. It has a good placement record.
