Chemical engineers are involved in many aspects of plant design and operation, including safety and hazard assessments, process design and analysis, control engineering , chemical reaction engineering , construction specification and operating instructions.
There is no doubt that it a very well defined course and have a good scope in future.
Job Outlook and Pay Scale of a Chemical Engineer
- Employment of chemical engineers is projected to grow 4% from 2012 to 2022, slower than the average for all occupations.
- The salaries of chemical engineers in India are very lucrative. Freshers can expect an average salary of Rs. 25,000 per month to Rs. 30,000 per month.
