Hello Aspirant,
CSSE stands for Computer Science and Systems Engineering and CSE for Computer Science Engineering. When any aspirant decides to get into a top private college like VIT and KIIT, they normally have just one goal, and that is a promising placement after the completion of the course. So that after expending nearly 16 lakhs just for a B.Tech degree, he/she gets a decent salary. The probability of getting positioned in a good company is much better in these private universities than in other private regional Engg colleges. If you are not in this section of people, if you prefer to understand the actual course and go for higher studies or if you prefer to create a skill utilizing which you can go for off-campus placements or want to go for any PSU employment, then select the branch in which you are interested. There are scopes in every field. It’s just you what you prefer to go for and what fascinates you more. So, KIIT has numerous incredible professors on all its campuses in all the branches. If you prefer a normal IT job, then CSE, IT, CSSE, and CSCE should be your preferences in that order. CSE and CSSE have nearly the same syllabus and are equally good. But sometimes firms or companies have a very stringent note of only CSE/IT students being allowed and occasionally even IT is not involved. The explanation behind this is that they are not confident about what has been incorporated/eliminated from the course curriculum of a hybrid branch like CSSE/ CSCE etc, so they are not convinced if the graduates from these branches have the essential requirements of that particular job.
Regards.
