DBS is a good option for bsc agriculture as it is located away from city hustle and the majority of locality nearby is associated with agriculture. As BSC agriculture is a 4 year course in which field knowledge and practical knowledge is more important than bookish knowledge, and the course is designed in that very way at DBS and that's why fi eld work is given more importance and time. Small plots are allotted to students for growing crops and performing various agricultural practices. The course is approved by ICAR and i s designed in such a way that it provides students with knowledge to meet needs of current industries.

HI Priti,
Doon group of colleges in Derhadun are decent. You can join for bsc Agriculture. Though the college provides a great exposure to the students through field work and practical classes, the college has limited options for placement in this stream. But, students are trained well enough to get good jobs off the campus as well.
Good Luck!
