Hello student,
If you wish to do Mtech then it is really a good option. It will save your one year and will be able to graduate from a NIT which is again good. NITs have good reputation and there is definitely scope in whatever you do in college provided you work very hard for it.NIT will open a lot of doors of opportunities for you. It is up to you if you can take advantage of it and work towards it. To summarise , if you are determined and sure that you work off hard those 5 years, then it is definitely a good career choice and there is certainly scope in it. So believe in yourself and go for it.
Cheers!
Hello Shivam,
The only thing that matters is in which discipline you are doing your B.Tech. So from the placement perspective both 4 Year B.Tech and Dual Degree are almost same.
You may face some problems when any company visits your campus for an internship and doesn't allow Dual Degree students because they can't give PPO(Pre Placement Offer) to Dual Degree students in their third year because companies generally offer Internships for Pre-final year students only. But this problem will be solved when you will be in the 4th year of your degree.
Let me answer your second question. If you are satisfied with the package of 6 LPA that means you are interested to join that company due to good working environment there or you are having skills set according to that amount of salary. So you should just go for it and start your job. But if you own skills set which can help you to get a better job then you are supposed to look for new job(off campus).
Thanku.
