Hello,
Below are some verified reviews from students who have studied b tech ECE. From this college
Please refer them
Placements :About 70% of the students were placed. The highest package offered was about 9 lakhs. The lowest package offered bieng 3.5 Lacs. On an average, most of the students get 4.5 Lacs package. Infosys, Deloitte, Smart Cubes, Ola, Jugnoo and many other companies visit the college. We do have a training and placement cell to look after the campus placements.
Infrastructure :All basic amenities were provided in the college. There is a scope for extracurricular activities and also sports activities, equipment is also available for the same. The canteen provides tasty and hygienic food. The hostels are well-built, and the good management supports the students.
Faculty :The teachers are helpful in building our core knowledge of the subject. They are all well qualified. The college provided the industrial visits to the manufacturing factories and corporate offices. The course is a bit outdated. It is not the one which gives you industrial exposure.
Placements :The placements are pretty good. In our batch, almost every student of CSE, IT, and ECE was placed. The placements are mostly held in UIET, Chandigarh where students from our college are also allowed but not in every company. Infosys is an MNC that allows students of our college.
Other students can also participate in the central placement organised by the university.
Infrastructure :The college has a very good library. The computer labs are good but there is no lab for mechanical engineering. The campus is small, which has both pros and cons.
A canteen is also there and classrooms are few. The hostel is well maintained. Moreover, it is affiliated to a recognised university of India.
Faculty :Panjab University is a recognised university. The syllabus is apt for GATE aspirants and the external exams are tough.
The faculty is qualified but most of the teachers don't have good knowledge of their subjects whereas some are pretty well qualified and knowledgeable.
Other :Our college is good for any student who aims high since you don't have to fear about marks and attendance. Exam papers are checked in the college itself and attendance can be negotiated with, with the cooperative professors. The college is in a small area.
Every student knows the other students since there are hardly any localities and all the students live in the hostel. They have a good family-like bonding. I recommend admission in our college but not for mechanical engineering.
Hope it helps
