How is ece branch of acharaya institute of technology bangalore
Hi there
Placements in AIT are not too good. But, for people who are interested in doing software jobs, the chances are better. Only 1or 2 hardware companies visit the campus for placements, and they are too choosy in selecting students. Software companies take a whole lot of students. The placement percentage of the previous batch was nearly 60%. The mass recruiters offered a minimum salary package of 3.8-4.5 LPA. Other than that, some private companies and startup companies offered really good salary packages starting from 8 LPA, and it's really tough to get into those companies. Only 5-6 students from the whole college get placed in such good companies. The college has a placement cell and a startup incubation centre which really help the students if approached. Placement training is provided right from the first year as a three-day programme in every semester. At least, the training should be provided once in a week to achieve 100% placements. Companies like Capgemini, Infosys, TCS, Bosch, Byju's, HashedIn, etc., visit the campus for placements.
So in conclusion, I would say you should try colleges like: Ramaiah Institute of Technology, BMS College of Engineering, RVCE Bangalore - R.V. College of Engineering for engineering in electronics and communication (ECE).
Hope this information helps. Good luck!
