System of Assessment
Continuous Assessment (CA) and Semester Examination (SE) are the two components of PG and UG course evaluation, each with a 50 percent weighting.
The following regulations apply to both undergraduate and graduate programmes.
- Continuous Assessment (CA) consists of a centralised mid-semester test as well as other activities such as quizzes, seminars, and assignments.

The centrally coordinated Test (Mid Semester Test) will be held in the middle of the semester for 50 points and a duration of 112 hours for graduate students and 60 points and a duration of 2 hours for post graduate students. Departments will hold two activities of ten points each, one before and one after the mid-semester test.The CA marks will be 30 from the mid-semester test and 20 from the department-level activity.
for each postgraduate student's paper - There are a total of 25 marks practical papers available for the Practical Internal Assessment (PIA), which is based on the student's performance based on each student's achievement in each lesson, viva, and test in terms of practicals
- The Semester Examination (SE) will last three hours and will be worth 100 points. The student's grades will be turned into a percentage. It will be graded on a scale of 1 to 50, and the results will be used to determine the SE grade.
