Both the colleges are good in their own way and, no one should ever say one is sanctimonious than the other.

It depends on what you want from an engineering college and what you are expectations to become in future.

If you are self-dependent and can do academic stuff on your, less bothered about classes, can take care of your End Sem exams by studying on your own then you can definitely choose DTU and If you really concerned with classes, lectures and want to have a spoon feeding environment then of course NSIT.

If extra curricular activities, joining project teams, technical and non-technical societies etc lures or tempts you then DTU will provide you abundant opportunities. If you are too academic oriented person who wish to have school like place where every topic will be covered in class and more or less similar questions in exams then going to NSIT will be a better option, though extra curricular activities are also there.

As far as placement is concerned, most of the technical giants visit both the college's and offer almost similar packages. Though no of companies that visit Dtu is more including startups and small firms , but since batch strength is also higher than Nsit B.Techies. You will get plethora of opportunities at both places.

I have provided you lighter insight of both the colleges and decision depends on what are your expectations from college and which branch which you are getting in which college.
