Doctorate of medicine is 2 to 3 year's course.

  • Madras Medical College, Chennai




  • General Medicine focuses on studying diagnosing as well as treating common health problems or disorders such as nausea, cold and cough.
  • Average salary is between 1 lakh to 12 lakh depending on the hospital you are applying for.


The area of MD specializations are as follows:

MD in Cardiology.

MD in Clinical Haematology.

MD in Clinical Pharmacology.

MD in Endocrinology etc.

The study for doctorate degree is too much along with the work load.
