These are the main responsibilities of a PG student in any medical institute:
- Dealing with medical records
- Clearing your thesis or research article with your mentor/ guide
- You will be allowed to perform surgeries in the Operation theater,
Along with this, according to a new law by the government, all post graduate students will get a three month mandatory posting at surgical hospitals, starting this academic session (2020-21). This will ensure that every hospital gets specialists, and the PG doctors too get proper exposure.
