How is hostel life at nit jamshedpur

Hostels here at NIT Jamshedpur are pretty average. Yeah, I would say that hostel life is pretty good here. You have the fun of for a lifetime. People are amazing and you will have a great experience here. Food is also pretty good according to me.

Hostel life of NIT Jamshedpur is similar to hostel life in any other Engineering college. Rather than searching for it as an answer, I would advise you to experience it yourself and then decide how it is.

• The security is very tight at Hostels of NIT Jamshedpur.There are two guard(retired army personnels) guarding 24/7.
• He got single room per student and each room is just great.
• Each room is quipped with a cupboard and separate balcony.
• There are 6 floors in mega hostel. Each floor has 6 blocks and each block has 18 rooms.
• For each block there is sufficient no of toilets and bathrooms equipped with 2 geysers. You'll also find a water purifier for each and every block ,so fetching water is quite easy
• There is a large common hall every 2 floor for serving different purposes.
• For convenience of students there are four lifts in the hostel.
• There is an open area in front of the hostel for students to relax.
• The surrounding of hostel is open and clean.
• There is also an OPEN AIR THEATER in backyards of both hostels.
• All of these features makes Nit Jamshedpur one of the best NIT in terms of accommodation at least in east India.
• When it comes to food you will find hardly any reasons to complain for may it be vegetarian or non-vegetarian food. They provide 4 times food a day which is sufficiently satisfying. For south-Indians too the menu will not be bad.
