IIIT Kottyam is a new IIIT nad follows the curriculum of IIITH so in term of education it is going to be good.

It has its own campus which is a good thing. IITKGP is its mentor which is again a positive side.

2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them where NISSAN ,L&T, Reliance(JIO) and many more startups.

Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from 6 Lakh to 10 Lakh. Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 2–3 years.
